Johnson Creek Elementary Friends of Our School "FOOS"
Friends of Our School is a group of parents, teachers, and community members who work with the school to help provide additional educational experiences for the children of Johnson Creek Elementary School.
- With your participation, we support elementary students and staff by providing those "extras" that help strengthen our programs such as:
- Field trips costs
- Classroom supplies
- Playground equipment
- Activities for the students, including Fall Fest, Santa Visit, and birthday books for each student
- Back-to-school breakfast for the staff, dinners on conference nights, and snacks throughout Teacher Appreciation Week

Our meetings are on the second Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the elementary library. Meeting reminders and minutes will be posted on the JC Elementary School "Friends of Our School" Facebook page.
We are always looking for more parents to join us! In addition to our monthly meetings, we have two big events for students each year where volunteers are needed:
- Fall Fest (October 31, 2025)
- Spring Walk-a-Thon (date to be determined)
We have multiple fundraisers throughout the school year including:
- Johnson Creek spirit wear sale
- Pastry Puffins
- Square 1 Art
- STEAM Night Silent Auction
- Literacy Night Raffle Baskets
- Spring Walk-a-Thon
If you would prefer to make a donation straight to FOOS, please reach out to any of our board members.
There is no membership fee or specific time commitment to join FOOS. By joining, you get the opportunity to work collaboratively with a group of parents who enjoy supporting our elementary students and staff.
